Product description

High-quality metal model of the Airbus A300-600RF aircraft in a detailed design based on the real model. The package includes an antenna and landing gear.

The Airbus A300 is the first production aircraft of Airbus and the first twin-engined wide-body airliner in the world. It was developed by Airbus Industrie GIE, now merged with Airbus SE, and produced from 1971 to 2007.

In September 1967, aircraft manufacturers in France, West Germany and the United Kingdom signed an initial memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the development of an innovative large airliner. The French and West Germans reached a firm agreement on May 29, 1969, after the British withdrew from the project on April 10, 1969. On December 18, 1970, a new joint aviation company, Airbus Industrie GIE, was formally created to develop and produce it. The A300 prototype first flew on October 28, 1972.
