Quality metal model of the Airbus A310-300 passenger plane. The model is well made. The model is packed in a cardboard box and has rotating wheels. The chassis is also included in the package.
The Airbus A310 is a wide-body aircraft designed and manufactured by Airbus Industrie, then a consortium of European aircraft manufacturers. Airbus has identified demand for an aircraft smaller than the A300, the first twin-jet widebody. On July 7, 1978, the A310 (originally the A300B10) was launched based on orders from Swissair and Lufthansa. On April 3, 1982, the first prototype made its first flight, and the A310 received its type certificate on March 11, 1983.
