It was not a worthy start to the 100th anniversary year for the fifth oldest airline in the world. Czech Airlines ČSA, founded in 1923, had a single aircraft on the Prague-Paris route at the beginning of 2023. In April, things started a little: OK-IOO was joined by a second A320, which also received the so-called 100th anniversary logo on sides of fuselage. During the Corona pandemic, ČSA Czech Airlines had to declare bankruptcy. However, for 2024, the fleet is expected to grow a bit more with the addition of four new Airbus A220s.
