Airbus A320neo (neo means new engine option) is a series of twin-engine jet narrow-body transport aircraft for short and medium distances, manufactured by the European (French-German-British) company Airbus. The A320neo series was created by a substantial modernization of the previous Airbus A320 series and includes the A319neo, A320neo and A321neo models. In addition to more modern and more economical engines, it offers better aerodynamic properties, a wider cabin with better sound insulation and more seats, and lower operating costs. The modernized aircraft produces 5 thousand tons of COx less per year, while the production of NOx is 10 to 20% lower.
