High-quality model of the civil aircraft Airbus A330-900neo of the airline company Virgin Atlantic. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real machine. The model package includes a magnetic chassis.
Founded in 1984, Virgin Atlantic launched its first flight using a second-hand Boeing 747 from London-Gatwick to Newark. Cleverly using clever and modern marketing and public relations, the airline has developed into the UK's second largest long-haul airline. For more than three decades, every plane in the fleet has been adorned by a Union Jack-carrying pin-up girl, the Scarlet Lady. The "Flying Lady" was recently replaced by five "Flying Icons" named Meera, Ray, Zadie, Oscar and Daley. In style similar to the classic Scarlet Lady, these five characters represent a small part of Virgin's efforts to be more inclusive and promote diversity. The second of the current four Airbus A330neos in the fleet, G-VTOM, is named Space Oddity, after David Bowie's famous 1969 hit with Daley as the flag bearer.
