High-quality metal model of the Alpha Jet 01 Luftwaffe Prototype military aircraft. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real aircraft. The model is available for pre-order.
A good 50 years ago, on October 26, 1973, the Alpha Jet took off for its first flight. The twin-engine aircraft, developed in German-French cooperation by Dassault-Breguet and Dornier, was characterized by high reliability, excellent flight characteristics and maneuverability, which still inspires enthusiasm at air shows today. Whether as a training aircraft, as it was used for decades in France and Belgium, or as a light fighter-bomber, in which it was used by three squadrons of the German Air Force from 1979 - the Alpha Jet combined both roles in a compact format. The first innovation is the first prototype that has passed extensive tests since 1973, in its unusual color with the state emblems of both partner countries. Today this aircraft is preserved and displayed in the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance.
