Soviet Air Force Antonov AN-22 Antei - 8th Military-Transport Aviation Regiment (VTAP), 12th Mginskaya Red Banner Air Transport Aviation Division, Migalovo Air Base

The 8th Regiment was one of three units at Migalovo that were equipped with the AN-22 from mid of the 1970s. "Antei" 05-10 was the sole aircraft to be painted in camouflage; it was used for flights from and to Afghanistan. Above the main landing gear is a chaff / flare countermeasure system to protect the aircraft from anti-aircraft Missiles.
