The Audi 80 is a lower middle-class car manufactured by Audi between 1966 and 1993. In 1980, the Audi Quattro was derived from the Audi 80, and in 1994 the 80 was renamed the Audi A4. From 1973, this model shared the chassis platform with the Volkswagen Passat and, in addition to the sedan version, was also available in the Avant version (Audi's station wagon). The coupé and cabriolet versions were not introduced as part of this model range, but shared the same platform and many parts.
