The nose art fi gure of Mr. Bones is a cartoon of the venerable emblem of the 128th Squadron, showing the smoking cat only as a skeleton, as an allusion to the popular nick name of “bone” (“B-one”) for the B-1B. “Mr. Bones” made the Georgia Air National Guard’s last fl ight with the Lancer.
