The Fortschritt E514 replaced the Fortschritt E512 combine.
This combine was manufactured by the East German manufacturer VEB Mähdrescherwerk Bischofswerda/Singwitz in Singwitz and is suitable for use in large areas, either in a group or individually. It is also usable in many conditions - on slopes with a slope of up to 21%, or when harvesting wet grain.
A large number of accessories of various types can be attached to the machine for harvesting many types of crops. Compared to the Fortschritt E 512, it has a stronger IFA engine (4 VD 14.5/12-1 SRW) with an output of 85 kW and can also process more material per second (up to 6 kg). The threshing drum is identical to that used in the E 512 and has a width of 1278 mm and a diameter of 600 mm. The width of the bar is 3.60 m, 4.20 m, 4.80 m and 5.70 m. When moving on public roads, the mowing accessories are disassembled and transported on a transport trailer.
