It is a limited Škoda Liaz 706 RT Prazdroj model.
Škoda 706 RT is the name of a multi-purpose vehicle whose chassis can have different superstructures according to purpose and needs. The first vehicle was created in 1955 by shortening the chassis of the 706 R by one meter, on which a new, at that time very modern trambus cabin (without hood) was mounted.
Another significant change was the rebuilding of the engine, which received direct injection, which meant an increase in performance and a significant increase in reliability.
Previously, these machines were the most used trucks in factories throughout Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The Czech brewery Prazdroj, which produces Pilsner beer Pilsner Urquell, was no exception. This brewery, founded in 1842, is the largest producer of beer in the Czech Republic and at the same time the largest exporter of beer abroad. Prazdroj currently includes the Radegast brewery and the Velké Popovice brewery.
Production of the Škoda 706 RT was discontinued in the mid-1980s, and it was replaced by newer models - Škoda 706 MT and Liaz 100. Today, only a few dozen of these vehicles are produced in Czechoslovakia. Some are used by various volunteer fire departments, but most are restored and preserved by collectors.
Škoda 706 RT has a five-speed gearbox and the maximum speed is 75 km/h, sometimes even more.
The gross vehicle weight for this vehicle is 15,000 kg.
