High-quality metal model of the BMW M3 (E30) car in white, year 1988. The precise processing of the model makes it almost indistinguishable from the original. The model has rotating wheels and doors that can be opened.
The BMW E30 is the second generation of the BMW 3 Series, which was produced between 1982 and 1994 and replaced the 3 Series E21. The model range included 2-door coupé and convertible body styles, as well as the first 3 Series produced in 4-door saloon and station wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine, a six-cylinder petrol engine and a six-cylinder diesel engine, the latter of which was a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX was the first BMW to feature all-wheel drive.
The first BMW M3 was built on the E30 platform and was powered by the BMW S14 high-revving four-cylinder petrol engine, which produced 175 kW (235 hp) in its last iteration. The BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. After the launch of the E36 3 series in 1990, the E30 began to be phased out.
