High-quality metal model of the civil aircraft Boeing 727-100 Alaska Airlines. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real aircraft. The model package includes a removable stand and a magnetic chassis.
Alaska Airlines was one of the first operators of the 727. Between 1966 and 1994, there were at least 61 aircraft in the fleet. In 1972, the airline began a major rebrand to emphasize Alaska's cultural diversity: an Eskimo, a gold digger commemorating the gold rush, Russian onion domes honoring Russian history in the region, and last but not least, a totem pole representing the culture. which was meant to symbolize the indigenous people. This green and gold 727 appears as the third model in our 60th anniversary series of the Boeing 727. So far, models of the legendary tri-jet have been released in Delta Air Lines (item #537278) and Pan Am (537285) livery.
