High-quality metal model of the Boeing 727-200 LAB Lloyd Aereo Boliviano. The package also includes a stand, landing gear and antenna.
The Boeing 727 is an American narrow-body airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After the introduction of the heavier four-engine 707 in 1958, Boeing addressed the demand for shorter flight lengths from smaller airports. The 727 was launched on December 5, 1960, with 40 orders from United Airlines and Eastern Air Lines.
The design of the Boeing 727 was a compromise between United Airlines, American Airlines and Eastern Air Lines; each of these three had developed requirements for a jet airliner that would serve smaller cities with shorter runways and fewer passengers.
