The Boeing 737-800 is a narrow-body, twin-engine jet airliner belonging to the Boeing 737 MAX family. It is a modernized version of the popular 737 model, which brings more efficient CFM International LEAP-1B engines, improved aerodynamics and new technologies in the cockpit. It has a capacity of approximately 162–210 passengers and a range of about 6,570 km. The model was introduced in 2017, but was temporarily grounded after two tragic accidents in 2018 and 2019. After modifications and safety improvements, it returned to service in 2020.
