The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is a narrow-body, twin-engine jet airliner belonging to the Boeing 737 MAX family. It is a modernized version of the popular 737 model, featuring more efficient CFM International LEAP-1B engines, improved aerodynamics, and new cockpit technologies. It has a capacity of approximately 162–210 passengers and a range of about 6,570 km. The model was introduced in 2017, but after two tragic accidents in 2018 and 2019, it was temporarily grounded. After modifications and safety improvements, it returned to service in 2020.
