Quality metal model of the Boeing 747-400ERF China Cargo Airlines cargo plane. The photo is illustrative only.
The 747-400ERF (Extended Range Freighter) is a freighter version of the -400ER that entered the market on April 30, 2001. The 747-400ERF is similar to the 747-400F, except for the increased gross weight that allows it to carry a larger payload. The 747-400ERF has a maximum take-off weight of 412,769 kg and a maximum payload of 112,760 kg. It offers cargo airlines the choice of either adding 10,000 kg more payload than other 747–400 freighter variants, or adding 972 km to the maximum range.
