High-quality metal model of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Hawaiian Airlines civil aircraft in the "Kapuahi" version. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real aircraft. The model package includes a removable stand and a magnetic chassis. The model is available for pre-order.
On February 23, 2024, the first of twelve Hawaiian Airlines Dreamliners on order was welcomed to Honolulu with a special celebration and a formal Hawaiian blessing. The aircraft's interior was also intended to reflect the Polynesian culture of the archipelago, using special fabrics and wall panels, including seat row numbering in the Hawaiian language. The airline named its long-haul aircraft after the stars and constellations used in Polynesian seafaring tradition. The aircraft, with identification number N781HA, is named "Kapuahi", a red giant star in the constellation Taurus, known in Western astronomy as "Aldebaran". Starting in April 2024, the aircraft will initially be used on routes between Honolulu and destinations on the US West Coast.
