For its first 787-9 Dreamliner, Aeromexico was looking for a special design to embrace its vast pre-Hispanic culture. Depicted are ancient glyphs from the Olmec, Mayan and Aztec and Totonac cultures. The main element is Quetzalcoatl, deity of wind and wisdom. The “Feathered Serpent” encompasses the 20 remaining colorful glyphs.
