Quality metal model of the Brewster Model 239 "Buffalo" airplane with landing gear.
The Brewster Model 239 "Buffalo" was a fighter aircraft developed in the 1930s. Originally designed for the Finnish Air Force, this single-engine monoplane became famous during World War II. He saw his combat deployment mainly in the Finnish-Soviet Winter War and in the initial stages of the war in the Pacific. Although the Buffalo pilots were credited with high maneuverability, it was soon outclassed by more modern fighters and its participation in wartime events was limited. In total, several hundred pieces of this aircraft were produced.
