High-quality metal model of the CASE Farmall 1206 tractor in the limited edition "2023 FARM SHOW" and in gold color. The tractor has rotating wheels.
The Farmall 1206 was the first turbocharged Farmall to use the 110 hp (82 kW) 806 diesel engine. A dual-range four-speed transmission was used for a total of eight gears, increasing to 16 with the optional torque converter. The PTO unit only turned at 1000 rpm. Dual rear wheels were standard and both wide, narrow and driven front axles were available, as was the factory cab. The Farmall 1206 had narrow front wheels for row work, while the International 1206 had a wide axle. The more robust IH 1206 Wheatland was offered with a stronger drawbar. About 12,000 units of the 1206 were produced at a price of around $9,600.
The 1206 was so powerful that early models damaged the tires. Goodyear and Firestone have developed special heavy-duty tires to solve this problem. 1206 were produced between 1965 and 1967.
