The Fiat 126p is a small city car produced under license from Italian Fiat in Poland, where it has become an iconic vehicle and a symbol of Polish automotive culture. Production began in 1973 and continued until 2000. The vehicle was designed as a successor to the popular Fiat 500 and shared similar compact dimensions and a simple design. It was powered by a rear-mounted two-cylinder engine with a volume of 594 to 652 cm³ with a power of around 23 horsepower, which was sufficient for basic transport in the city.
