On November 25, 2024, Emirates not only took delivery of its first of 65 Airbus A350s on order, it is also the first new aircraft type to enter the fleet since 2008. On its delivery flight from Toulouse, France to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the A6-EXA was powered by a blend of jet fuel (and sustainable jet fuel and SAF fuel). The A350 will make its debut on the Dubai-Edinburgh route in January 2025, followed by other destinations in the Middle East, West Asia and Europe.
