Model scenes often captivate people with small tricks and surprises that they have no idea about.
A falling tree is just such a gimmick. The spectator is very surprised when an impressive 17 cm tree falls to the ground at the edge of the forest completely unexpectedly. The trick behind this is extremely simple: under the tree is a servo that realistically assembles it; first slowly and then faster until the tree finally falls to the ground. After about 8 seconds, the tree will stand up again by itself.
The falling tree is an impressive, extremely realistic handmade, twisted wire tree that is elaborately clad. The supplied electronics can be connected to a commercially available 16 V model rail transformer and is suitable for AC and DC.
