Product description

Ferrari ended the 1987 Formula 1 season with positive results. For 1988 the Scuderia didn't change much on the 1987 car, the last before the ban of turbocharged engines. The F1 87/88C of 1988 was actually no match for Ayrton Senna's and Alain Prost's McLarens, although the Ferrari drivers Michele Alboreto and Gerhard Berger pur all their efforts race after race. In a season dominated by McLaren, Ferrari had their glory day at Monza, when Senna, who was leading, clashed with Schlesser's Williams and had to retire. Berger inherited the first position, preceding his team mate Alboreto. That was the best way to celebrate Enzo Ferrari who had died some days before.
