Product description

High-quality model of the Fiat 131 in a detailed modern design. The model is red-yellow in color and is made of a combination of metal and plastic.

The Fiat 131 was a lower middle-class car that was produced by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat from 1974 to 1984. Its predecessor was the Fiat 124, and its successor was the Regata. It was produced as a two- or four-door sedan, or as a five-door station wagon.

It was first introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1974. A total of 1,513,800 vehicles were produced. The vehicle had a front-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive. The vehicle had disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. In 1978, a minor facelift appeared. The round headlights were replaced with square ones. The bumper design was also changed. The station wagon was renamed the Panorama. Another change came in 1981. This time the changes mainly concerned the interior. Two years later, production of the sedan was stopped. Production of the station wagon continued until the start of production of the Regata Weekend. Until 1982, the Fiat 131 sedan was also produced in Spain. However, it was sold as the Seat 131. License production was also carried out by the Turkish company Tofaş in Bursa. Here the vehicle was produced under the name Murat 131.
