A high-quality model of the Ford Gran Torino Sport metallic sports car, it is designed in dark green color and produced in 1972.
Just as the Ford LTD was a luxury version of the Ford Galaxie, the Torino was initially a luxury variation of the mid-size Ford Fairlane. In the 1968 and 1969 model years, Ford's middle line consisted of the lower-trim Fairlanes and its subseries, the upper-trim Torino models. In 1970, the Torino became the main name for Ford's intermediate product, and the Fairlane was now a sub-series of the Torino. In 1971, the Fairlane name was completely dropped and all Ford intermediates were called Torino.
