The Hitachi ZX300LC-7 fits nicely into the lineup between the already produced ZX250-6 and ZX350-6 models. The level of detail is again very high, with a European-spec crawler chassis that has tensioned idler wheels to keep the crawler chain taut. The bottom cylinder details are integrated into the track frame castings and each track pad has raised grooves and bolt details.

The large top engine compartment cover folds up to reveal a very impressive engine compartment interior with a replicated engine block, cooling system and exhaust. The metal safety rails and black printed anti-skid panels with a raised texture work well, as does the grill hole print on the side panel.

Looking at the cabin, once again the doors can be opened 180 degrees to reveal a very impressive interior that leaves nothing to the imagination. From joysticks, levers and foot controls to the brightly colored interior, even the smallest detail catches the eye.

The boom, stick and bucket assembly has an authentic range of motion with a full complement of hydraulic line details that include an auxiliary supply to the stick and armor hoses. All the pin heads have been painted, as have the piston rod ends, with the paint in place, with the various warning marks and machine markings accurately positioned.
