Quality metal model of IVECO TRAKKER 8X8 military car, has a protected carriage.
With its latest generation of tactical military trucks, CNH Industrial subsidiary Iveco Defense Vehicles is reaffirmed as a privileged supplier to the German armed forces.
The 100th Trakker from a total order of approximately 133 tactical military trucks has been delivered by Iveco Defense Vehicles to the German Bundeswehr, the German Armed Forces - represented by the BAAINBw (Bundeswehr Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Operational Support). The handover ceremony took place at the Iveco Defense Vehicles plant in Ulm, Germany, in the presence of representatives of the army and the Ministry of Defense, as well as industrial partners.
133 tactical military trucks, which are known for their high mobility and excellent level of protection, belong to the contract signed in 2015 as part of the GTF (Geschützte Transportfahrzeuge) procurement program of the German army, with delivery over 4 years.
The vehicles are equipped with a protected cab that currently offers the highest level of ballistic, mine and IED protection in five different configurations, including different types of ISO-container transport superstructures, some with hydraulic crane and winch systems.

Over the past decade, the company has delivered nearly 1,000 vehicles from its wide range to the German military, which have already been widely deployed in operational areas such as Afghanistan and Mali. Recent contracts with the Bundeswehr also include 280 Eurocargo 4x4 trucks to be delivered in 2018.
