High-quality metal model of the Kirovets K700 tractor in deep yellow. The emphasis on the detail of the model, and the three operators of the machine, with miniature flexible parts make it almost realistic. The model also includes fully functional wheels capable of movement
The K-700 (Russian: К-700) is a heavy-duty four-wheel drive tractor from the former USSR and current Russian manufacturer Kirovets (Russian: Кировец).
The tractor was produced in 1962, its basic design was adopted in several subsequent models. K-700s were also exported to RVHP members – the GDR imported the K-700 from 1968. The K-700 is a 50 kN class four-wheel drive heavy tractor with articulated and detachable rear wheel drive. The connecting piece of the front and rear parts of the frame is movable around the vertical and longitudinal axis, the control is carried out by lateral bending with the help of hydraulics. It is powered by an eight-cylinder turbodiesel engine in a V configuration with an output of 215 horsepower. The 1975 K-700 was a further development of the K-700 A, including the elimination of the additional larger fuel tanks (two 320 liter tanks) in favor of larger tires for better traction. The K-700 A provided only a temporary solution. In 1975, the successor of the K-700 appeared: the K-701. The K-701 has a 12-cylinder atmospheric diesel engine with a power of 300 HP. The K-700 tractors were particularly large, handled well, although the noise and vibration on the driver was relatively high. In the GDR, its size was sometimes unwieldy in off-field operations. In addition, the sheer size of the tractor often led to soil degradation.
