Lufthansa LEOS, the ground handling specialist of the Lufthansa Group, is the first customer of the all-electric Phoenix E aircraft tractor without towing equipment developed by the German manufacturer Goldhofer. The purely battery-electric vehicle is used at Frankfurt Airport and can move aircraft up to a take-off weight of 352 tonnes, including heavy wide bodies such as the Boeing 777 or the Airbus A350.
