Quality metal model car Mercedes Benz - 190E(W201) TAXI GERMANY from 1993 in cream color.
The Mercedes-Benz W201 was the internal designation for the Mercedes 190 series sedans, a line of front-engine, rear-wheel drive four-door sedans produced for one generation from 1982 to 1993 as the first compact class car. Designed by Bruno Sacco, head of Mercedes-Benz styling from 1975 to 1999, the W201 debuted at the Paris Motor Show in 1982. Produced in both Bremen and Sindelfingen, Germany, the W201 produced 1,879,629 units during the model's eleven-year lifespan. 5-link rear suspension, subsequently used in E and C-Class models, front and rear anti-roll bars, anti-dive and anti-squat geometry – as well as airbags, ABS brakes and seat belt pre-tensioners. Its extensive use of lightweight high-strength steel allowed it to withstand a concrete barrier impact at 35 mph (56 km/h) without seriously injuring the occupants or deforming the cabin.
