NEW FORM! The volume tandem trailer has been updated after more than 20 years in the Herpa line for fixed and swap bodies. The small storage box between the two axles is now prototype, which also means new underride protection; fenders are now a separate part as well. The inspiration for the first model with solid bodies is the well-known company Gebrüder Weiss. Based in Lauterbach, it is the oldest transport and logistics company in Austria (if not in Europe or the world) and is still family-owned (the Weiss and Jerie families). For more than 500 years, the company has continuously developed and matured into a global player in the transport and logistics market. Already in 1474, the "Mailänder Bote" was a regular transport line between Lindau on Lake Constance (then an important transit port for north/south trade) via Fussach (Austria) and Chur (Switzerland) to Lake Como and on to Milan (Italy).
