The quality resin Oreca 07 was a Le Mans-only prototype built by French manufacturer Oreca to meet the 2017 FIA and ACO LMP2 regulations. It made its official race debut at the opening round of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the 24 Hours of Daytona and its FIA debut. World Endurance Championship in 2017 6 Hours of Silverstone. The car is the successor to the Oreca 05.
The Oreca 07 has proven to be the car of choice for LMP2 teams, finding more buyers each year switching to the chassis from previously purchased chassis from other brands. 26 of the 27 LMP2 cars on the starting grid of the 2022 Le Mans 24 Hours race represented the Oreca brand.
