The "sieve set" contains fine, medium and coarse sieves.  The basic rule is: The shorter the grass fibers, the finer the sieve:

• Fine sieve for grass fibers with a length of 1.5 - 2.5 mm
• Medium sieve for grass fibers with a length of 2.5 - 6 mm
• Coarse sieve for grass fibers 6 - 12 mm long

But don't be afraid to experiment: If you put long fibers of grass in the middle sieve, less fibers will get to the ground.  In this way, dry, sparse meadows can be represented or the various grass fibers can be carefully mixed on the ground.  There are no  limits   to fantasy !
