Following four weeks in the paint shop, the fi rst A380, sporting the new livery of Etihad Airways, was presented to the public for the first time at the end of September in Hamburg, Germany. The geometrical pattern is inspired by traditional Islamic design and modern Arabian architecture that can be found throughout Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways’ home city.
