Skoda 1203, also known as "one thousand two hundred and three", represented the most widespread commercial vehicle produced in Vrchlabí in the years 1968-1981, when almost 70 thousand vehicles were produced. Then its production was moved to Slovakia, where the vehicle was produced under the name TAZ in the Trnava car races. After almost 30 years, production returned to the Czech Republic when the intellectual property was acquired in 1999 by the Ocelot company, which continued to manufacture vehicles until 2002.
