Model of the first Škoda modern vehicle of the time with a front-mounted engine and front-wheel drive. Favorit was presented to the public for the first time in 1987 at the engineering fair in Brno. This is a vehicle that was created in collaboration with the Italian design firm Bertone, and the cost of its development rose to more than two billion crowns. For this reason, Škoda was forced to look for a foreign partner, which in 1991 became the German concern Volkswagen.
