Škoda Favorit is a small car that was produced by the Škoda car company from 1988 to 1995. The car was presented for the first time in 1987 at the engineering fair in Brno. For the domestic automotive industry, the Favorit was a big step forward. The development of the Škoda with front-wheel drive became a priority of the party by resolution number 228 of the Czechoslovak government from December 1982. The whole car had to be assembled from homemade parts. Favorit had the parameters of a modern car, comparable to significantly more expensive Western competition. Current design, hatchback body with a spacious interior and a trunk with a volume of 251 liters or more. It had an economical operation, a low price, and so the initial interest in it exceeded the production capacity.
