High-quality metal model of the Sukhoi SU30M Flanker military aircraft in a detailed design based on the real model. The package includes a stand and landing gear.
The Sukhoi Su-30 is a two-seat, twin-engine, multi-role fighter aircraft of the 4+ generation developed in the Soviet Union in the 1980s. It is a further development stage of the Su-27 type with the aim of expanding its combat capabilities to include the function of a fighter-bomber. The emphasis of the modifications was primarily placed on extending the range and using a wide range of anti-ground weapons. Thanks to the use of new technologies and materials, this highly valued combat aircraft is capable of destroying air and ground targets with a wide range of guided and unguided weapons in all meteorological conditions, day and night, even during intense radio-electronic warfare. Some variants of the Su-30 increase maneuverability by using a variable thrust vector of the engine outlet nozzles, thereby improving the aircraft's already top maneuverability. Interestingly, the modified version of the Su-30 is the first aircraft in the world capable of sustained supersonic flight while flying vertically upwards. In 2015, the Russian Air Force replaced its obsolete MiG-29 squadrons with the Su-30SM, and the Russian Naval Aviation is replacing its Su-24 fighter jets with them.
