Tatra T815 is a truck with a 6x6, or 4x4 or 8x8 chassis. It is intended for operation in very difficult terrain. It was launched on the market in 1983 after passing test runs at the Tatra test site and in Russian Siberia in difficult terrain and climatic conditions. The T815 model follows on from the previous Tatra T138 and Tatra T148 models conceptually.
