High-quality model of the civil aircraft Tupolev Tu-154M in a high-quality version in a scale of 1:200.
The Tupolev Tu-154M is a three-engine medium-range narrow-body airliner designed and manufactured by the Tupolev Design Bureau in the Soviet Union, and later in Russia. It first entered service in 1972 and remained in production until 2013, making it one of the most widely used airliners in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. The Tu-154M can carry up to 160 passengers and has a range of around 3,900 km (2,400 mi). It is known for its reliability, ruggedness, and ability to operate from short runways, including those in remote areas and regions with harsh climates. However, the Tu-154M has also been involved in several high-profile accidents, leading to concerns over its safety and eventual retirement from many airlines.
