High-quality metal model of the civil aircraft Boeing 727-200 Air France in white. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real aircraft.
Although the volume of Boeing's legendary tri-jets in the fleets of European airlines was not nearly as large as that of operators in the US domestic market, the Boeing 727 was still the centerpiece of the medium-haul fleets of several major airlines in the 1970s and 1980s on European continent. Therefore, these should not be missing in our model range for the 60th anniversary of the Boeing 727. Air France operated a total of 29 Boeing 727s of the longer 200 series between 1968 and 1992 for almost a quarter of a century. The three-jet aircraft replaced the locally produced Sud Aviation Caravelle and was itself replaced by the then new Airbus A320.
