The BTR-60 is a Russian armored personnel carrier that was used in the 1960s and 1970s by the Soviet Union and its allies, including the NVA (National People's Army) in the former East Germany. The vehicle had an 8x8 drive and could transport up to 14 soldiers in the cabin. It was also armed with multiple guns, including 14.5 mm KPVT machine guns and 7.62 mm PKT machine guns. The BTR-60 was also equipped with armor plates and could overcome water obstacles. During its career, the BTR-60 was used in many conflicts around the world, including conflicts in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
