Martinair Flight Academy is a subsidiary of the airline of the same name from the Netherlands. Originally founded by Martin Schröder as Reclamair, the two Piper Super Cubs in operation at the time were used to tow advertising banners. With the move to the newly created Lelystad Airport in 1974, Reclamair was renamed Martinair Flight Academy, now also offering pilot training courses with an expanded fleet.
