Quality metal model of Convair XB-58 Hustler U.S. military aircraft. Air Force, B-58 Test Force in "Mach-in-Boid" design. It is a detailed and precisely processed model based on a real aircraft.
The elegant Convair B-58 Hustler with its delta wings and axle belt has not lost any of its fascination to this day. 55-0661 was the second prototype of Convair's Mach 2 strategic bomber and took off on its maiden flight on February 16, 1957. Nicknamed the "Mach-in-Boid", the aircraft was used extensively for testing and evaluation and was, among other things, the first "Hustler", which performed refueling flight tests, tested unique fuel tank/weapon nacelles, or tested emergency exit to supersonic flight using an escape module.
