High-quality metal model of the 1943 Curtiss P40F Warhawk "Miss Memphis" military aircraft in detailed processing based on the real model.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-engine, single-seat, all-metal fighter-bomber that first flew in 1938. The P-40's design was a modification of the previous Curtiss P-36 Hawk, which shortened development time and allowed for rapid entry into production and operational service. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II and remained in front-line service until the end of the war. After the North American P-51 Mustang and the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, it was the third most produced American fighter of World War II; by November 1944, when production of the P-40 stopped, 13,738 units had been produced, all at the main Curtiss-Wright Corporation production facilities in Buffalo, New York.
