Quality metal model of Shenyang J-6 Pakistan Air Force Number 1015 military aircraft
The J-6 was considered a "one-off" and was only supposed to be in service for 100 flight hours (or about 100 sorties) before being overhauled. The Pakistan Air Force was often able to extend this to 130 hours through diligent maintenance.
The J-6 has a top speed of 1,540 km/h (960 mph), Mach 1.45. Service ceiling is 17,900 m (58,700 ft). The combat radius with two additional tanks is about 640 km (400 mi). The aircraft is powered by two Liming Wopen-6A (Tumansky R-9) jet engines. In addition to the internal cannon armament, most have an option for four wing pylons weighing up to 250 kg (550 lb), with a maximum ammunition load of 500 kg (1,100 lb). Typical stores include unguided bombs, 55mm rocket pods, or PL-2/PL-5 air-to-air missiles (Chinese versions of the Soviet K-13).
The package includes a metal structure with several plastic components, realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details, printed markings and labels that do not peel off like stickers, opening cockpits to reveal detailed cockpit interiors, interchangeable extend/retract landing gear.
