Product description

High-quality metal model of the civil aircraft Boeing 757-200F of the Chinese cargo company in detailed design according to the real model. The package includes a chassis, an antenna and a stand.

The Boeing 757 is a medium-range aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It was developed together with the Boeing 767 model as its close sibling. The cabin of the 757 and 767 models is very similar, and therefore pilots licensed to fly the Boeing 767 can also fly the Boeing 757 model without retraining. This aircraft was designed mainly for the needs of Eastern Air Lines and British Airways. The first plane started flying in 1983 and the last one was produced in 2004. There are only 1050 of them in the world.

It was designed to satisfy the medium-range aircraft market with modern avionics. The decision to start development was made in 1978, with the first customers for the new machine being Eastern Airlines and British Airways, who placed orders in August of that year. The Boeing 757 was originally intended to be a replacement for the Boeing 727-200 with tailplanes like the 727, but this model was never built. The prototype flew for the first time in February 1982, with Rolls-Royce RB535C engines, but Pratt & Whitney PW2037 or PW2040 engines were offered as alternatives. At the end of 1982, it was granted a certificate for transporting people, while the first commercial flight took place on January 1. 1983 by Eastern Airlines. By the end of 1999, nearly 1,000 Boeing 757s had been ordered, with production continuing at a rate of 48 units per year. The Boeing 757 has a transatlantic range. Thanks to the better economy of operation, it will carry 50 more passengers than the Boeing 727-200.
